Hey guys,
I was wondering what your opinion was on the new Frabill Commando. The look like a heck of a shack. Let me know if any of you have any. |

I sat in a one-man Frabill this year (I believe it was the Commando), I bonked myself in the head with the top pole every time I flipped it over. If you are under 6ft tall it would be ok. Make sure to check that out before you order one.
I personally would look for the older model scout, or pro. I know Jay has a smoking deal on a Pro that is in good shape. I would buy it if I had the disposable income, but my wife doesnt think I need a 4th shack. |

I am 6'-6" and I love my commando . I have plenty of room , it has become my favorite shack , and I have a 7080 R2TEC .
One feature i really like is the door , this allows me to bank in the shack on windy days . The sled is big enough for any gear you take , the seat is the best available in any ice shack . Even fully loaded its a breeze to load . The windbreak position works great for sunny warm days .
The only negative thing I have ever heard is the seat height . I like the seat height , but a shorter person my not . The black canvas absorbs plenty of heat from the sun to keep it cozy inside on all but the coldest of days . _________________ Only real men walk on water.... |

| I must have been in a different one-man Frabill model, because both me and Kracke hit our heads when we sat up straight. Robbi is a giant compared to me, so it must be ok. |

I have the Recon DLX and it is the best house I have ever not fished in . If you are looking for the new leader in the industry go Frabill. They are continually improving their houses. _________________ Chris Bressler
